Book on one of our upcoming 1-Day Fire Fighting courses below. Future dates are available, please contact the office for details.

The MCA Approved 1-Day Fire Fighting course is a very useful, cost effective and more appropriate alternative course to the STCW Basic Fire Fighting 2-3 day course which is a requirement on vessels over 24m.

Please note this is not an STCW approved course and cannot be used as an STCW equivalent.

The course provides a more suitable level of Fire Fighting for vessels under 24m which predominately use of fire extinguishers and fixed engine room fire systems instead of breathing apparatus sets.

SeaRegs have further developed the course to include elements of the code and offshore vessel fire fighting appliance requirements and compliance. It includes practical Fire Fighting training using extinguishers and fire blankets.

Please be aware that the Workboat Code Edition 2 states: “The Master or nominated fire fighter who have undertaken Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention should undertake a refresher training course at least every 5 years”.
