Vessel Charter

SeaRegs offer a diverse range of commercial vessels. Many of these vessels are used for our highly recommended training courses, but are also available for commercial charter.

Our highly qualified and experienced team of skippers and crew are able to carry out almost every task requested by the customer. Services consist of seabed surveys through to safety cover for mass participation events.

No job is too big, nor too small at SeaRegs. Our knowledge our local waters sets us apart from other operators within this field.

Our skippered charter vessels can be adapted to suit the clients needs, and due to the diverse range of vessels available, SeaRegs can operate from a stream to coastal waters.

Redbay Stormforce 7.4

Tamo.

Redbay Stormforce 7.4

Tamo is our coded Redbay 7.4m. Tamo underwent major refurbishment in 2019, and the whole boat has been redesigned. This involved converting it from an inboard diesel engine to a more economical outboard. Powered by a Mercury Verado 300hp, Tamo is a high speed vessel.

Coded to Cat 3, 20 miles from a safe haven. Tamo is permitted for night operations. Fitted with a Simrad Halo 20+ radar and chartplotter, side scan sonar, and AIS. She really is a well kitted out boat.

XS 850 RIB

Slippery Knot.

Slippery Knot is a coded XS RIBs 850. Powered by a reliable Mercury 275hp outboard.

Coded to Cat 3R, 20 miles from a safe haven. Slippery Knot is permitted for night operations. Slippery Knot is fitted with a Simrad GO9 Chartplotter with Halo 20+ radar.

Slippery Knot is available on a skippered charter basis with our crew ensuring you meet the MCA manning requirements.

Anthem II.

Ribquest LR63

Anthem 2 is our coded RIBquest LR63. 6.3m in length, and powered by a Mariner 150hp Optimax, Anthem will ensure you and your team arrive on location in a timely and safe manner.

Anthem provides a great camera and safety boat platform. Coded for four persons to Cat 3R, Anthem can also be tasked to carry out night operations in favourable weather.

Anthem was extensively refitted in 2023.

Katie Louise Workboat

Steel Workboat

MV Katie Louise is a 10m steel workboat, powered by a Ford Sabre 120HP inboard diesel engine, Katie Louise cannot match our RIBS for speed, but she'll get you there.

The deck is fitted with a small hydraulic HIAB crane and a hydraulic drum winch suited for launching and recovering seabed survey equipment.

Lochin 33

The Lochin 33 is a workboat, commonly used as a dive boat or fishing charter boat. Before coming to Plymouth as our training boat in 2013, our Lochin 33 spent 15 years working as a Committee Boat in the Solent. She has many uses for charter, whether it's a support vessel, committee boat, media boat, or just exploring.

Halmatic H10 - Talisman

Halmatic H10

Talisman is a 'Halmatic H10' Pilot boat that we use a Training, Charter and Light Work boat. She is built by Halmatic/Vosper Thornycroft in Southampton in the 80's and the design is thought to have seen service on the African Coast as pilot boats. She is heavily built in GRP with a comfortable long wheelhouse that was extensively refitted along with the rest of the boat in 2020.

She holds SCV and Light Work Boat Certification for commercial use and has a 900KG plus 12 person capacity. She is an ideal mother ship for stores transfer, support operations and has a 10-12 knot speed.

XS 700 RIB

Sabre.

XS 700

Sabre is code compliant for commercial use and has space and seating for up to 8 people (including the driver). Sabre is suitable for personnel transfer, load and equipment carrying, or just a great day out with family and friends.

This craft has unrivalled seakeeping with ample buoyancy and a deep-vee hull for a softer ride. We have configured the vessel so that the two back seats are removable, giving just over a 1m x 1.3m space with pad eyes for load strapping or allowing a larger work area.

Gauntlet.

Gauntlet is SCV code compliant for commercial use and has space and seating for up to 6 people  (including the driver) plus 150KG of cargo. Gauntlet is suitable for personnel and stores drop off's, safety/escort boat, filming or just a great day out with family and friends.

Bavaria 36 RYA Training

Phoebe.

Bavaria 36

Phoebe is our 2003 Bavaria 36 yacht used on our RYA sailing courses. Phoebe is coded to category 2 (60 nautical miles from a safe haven) with 3 double cabins on board.

Fitted with galley, heads (WC), comfortable saloon and Raymarine electronics, it’s a very comfortable and capable cruising yacht.

HydroSurv - Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV)

REAV-28

SeaRegs Training, specialists in internationally recognised maritime courses and marine apprenticeships, has ordered a customised REAV-28 Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) from Exeter-based HydroSurv. The vessel will be used to provide industry leading training for USV operators around the UK.

This will be HydroSurv’s most advanced REAV-28 build to date and the company’s first USV to be fitted with state-of-the-art command and control software, VOYAGER AI, developed by marine autonomy leaders Robosys Automation.
