Overview
The MCA Approved 1 day Fire Fighting course is a very useful, cost effective and more appropriate alternative course to the STCW Basic Fire Fighting 2-3 day course which is a requirement on vessels over 24m.

The course provides a more suitable level of Fire Fighting for vessels under 24m which predominately use fire extinguishers and fixed engine room fire systems instead of breathing apparatus sets,.

SeaRegs have further development the course to include elements of the code and offshore vessel fire fighting appliance requirements and compliance. It includes practical Fire Fighting training using extinguishers and fire blankets.
