The IMO 6.09 Training course for Instructors is aimed at providing the knowledge and skills required for anyone looking to teach STCW courses. Recent changes in MNTB and MCA guidelines have increased the need for Instructors to have adequate teaching qualifications. This course meets the latest requirements.

We ran an initial IMO course in-house course for our Instructors, they all found the course useful, learnt or refreshed some new instructional techniques and have gone away and adjusted how they deliver our STCW and other courses.

We use a hand picked Instructor Trainer and all who attended said that they learnt something new or now take a slightly different approach to teaching.
