MCA STCW 95 Survival Course Plymouth Devon

Formed in 2010 by Directors Simon and Vicky Jinks, SeaRegs has evolved in the past years to its purpose-built training centre at Turnchapel Wharf, Plymouth.

The centre has a dedicated Navigation Simulation room for ECDIS and Radar training and a workshop for engineering and Efficient Deck Hand training, allowing specific and specialised training. Our location on the water in Plymouth Sound, along with our range of boats, compliments the shore-based aspects of the courses, providing students with all the on-site facilities needed to complete their studies.

From the most basic courses to instructor training, SeaRegs provides a choice of over 60 courses accredited by the RYA, MCA, MLC Highfield and ISM, delivering a wide range of qualifications from a port operative to a superyacht deckhand to boat master or yacht skipper to instructor training.

We take enormous pride in our course development and implementation, only working with the most friendly and experienced instructors to ensure that the courses are engaging and fun; this means that students leave us with lessons learnt for life and with smiles on their faces!

We also realise the importance of supporting the next generation of mariners, working very closely with the Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) and supporting employers to provide apprenticeship students with exciting marine apprenticeships to work, earn and learn at the same time.

We’re very much looking forward to launching our new London classroom location in July 2020, where we will continue to run various MCA and RYA courses.
