New WBC 3 Version MCA Radar & Meteorology ONLY
Description:
The MCA at the end of 2023 have revised the syllabus for the Small Ships Navigation & Radar course, it is now in two parts. This is the Part 2, 2-day Small Ships Radar and Meteorology module only.
If you need the full Small Ships Navigation and Radar course over 5x days, please do not book this course, as the Part 1 3-day Electronic Chart System and Bridge Watchkeeping module is running immediately after this course on 10-12 July. The combined course fee is £1025 inc VAT which is a reduced rate compared to booking the modules separately.
Certificates will be issued for each part of the new MCA Small Ships Navigation and Radar course which is currently the only course approved by the MCA to meet the training requirements for Electronic Chart Systems and Radar in Workboat Code 3. Both certificates are required to meet the requirements for both the Radar and Electronic Charts.
Pre-requisites: Ideally, candidates should have a little navigation knowledge before this course.
