Course Content:

Learners gaining this qualification will understand that moving and handling must be carried out correctly and will recognise its importance in ensuring a safer working environment.

SeaRegs run this course with lots of practical exercises to demonstrate and practice safe moving techniques.

If learners are coming from a maritime environment we also ensure that we discuss the requirements of Manual Handling in the maritime environment, such as use of lines, winches, working overside etc and the guidance given in the Code of Safe working practices.

Courses are non-residential, so accommodation is required in one of the many hotels or guest houses near the Centre. We can provide a list of recommendations.
